ookala is five months today. how time flies!

meet new family member, otto. he was named after out favorite artist, otto dix, of degenerate art. otto is coming from germany, via poulsbo. he has 6.9 liter engine rated at 286 hp with 405 ft·lbf of torque, self-leveling hydro-pneumatic suspension, his own wikipedia page, and is a movie star. ookala will drive it when she’s big enough, and she will also be a movie star. after she gets a nobel prize in subnuclear physics.

this week ookala learned to:

• recognize humor
• shield her eyes from direct sun with her hand
• take binkie in and out from her mouth
• hold her milk bottle

today anastassia flipped herself over. she was lying on her back on the activity mat, playing with hanging stuff, and next thing we know she’s on her tummy reaching to her toy!
