Nini ate chocolate cake the first time while standing in a baby pool at Kenna’s 5th birthday party, Mumm! She said. The next day was Nini’s first birthday party and she also had a chocolate cake. What a weekend! We had Nini’s big party in the back yard with friends and neighbors on Sunday, June 28th. On Nini’s real birthday June 21st, the weekend before, we celebrated at the cabin with a marsipan kake from the Scandinavian bakery.

I can’t believe my little girl is already one year’s old! She has thick blonde curls all over her head already. She looks like me, except she has more hair and earlier than me, and it is more curly, like her Papa’s! Lucky girl!
