ookala prefers to spend her time as a burrito, swaddled tight in a blanket. if you unwrap it and put her butt up on your belly, she will eventually crawl up so her temple is pushing up your chin. she likes to be called “gusiki-bubusiki”.

today she is 5 days old. she kept smiling when i was singing her a song. she raised her eyebrow. she has a dimple on her left cheek.

after rough start, baby and mommy are getting much, much better.
